The William Pike Challenge and Duke of Edinburgh Awards are two amazing opportunities offered here at Verdon College. They allow students to get outside of their comfort zone and gain some incredible experiences. The William Pike Challenge and Duke of Edinburgh Awards are Nationally recognised achievements that highlights the recipient's personality and attitude to future employers.
The Duke of Edinburgh's Hillary Award is the world's leading youth achievement award. Proven to help with job and study prospects, it has transformed the lives of millions of young people since it first began. Students can complete their Bronze, Silver and Gold awards through completing voluntary service, physical recreation, skills, adventurous journeys and a residential project.
